  Tonight was our first visit to the Salty Caper. Perhaps our visit was a fluke but I won't be back to find out. After ordering a beer, two calzones, and fried bread sticks we asked the waitress if we could sit outside. She said "Sure!" They would bring our food out when it was ready. My husband's beer was flat but he shrugged it off. 40 minutes later and no food. I went back inside and asked how much longer the calzones might be. The waitress who took our order appeared confused and asked you ordered calzones..? I said yes, and breadsticks. She said "Oh the order will be right out!" 5 minutes later a waiter brought us tasteless calzones and tasteless breadsticks. I asked for a water, which never came. Once we finished eating I went in to go get a to-go box. The waiter who brought our food saw me and said "oh, water right?" I said no just a to go box please. He did apologize but honestly the night was already a total loss. Super disappointed :(

  Wonderful wood fired brick oven pizza, Italian for sure! Very nice selection of local brews on tap. Dessert to die for...it's a surprise so order one!
